I am sailing along and trying to manage the boat. It is blowing about 15 at the time and I am having to steer the boat because the wind is really shifty and I have to constantly watch my course.
The phone rings and I just can't let it ring. I always answer my phone. The stbx calls and asks what I am doing. Okay...I am off for a few days...the weather is nice...what the heck do you think that I am doing. I don't say this...I just tell her I am on the boat.
She replies and says that she needs to get some trash hauled off to the dump and askes if I can do it.
Okay...You left me...you got the house. It is your damn problem. I don't say this either. I bite my tounge and tell her that I am really busy and I don't know when I can do it (try never).
She then says....Well..I will have to borrow your truck sometime and take care of this.
In the back of my mind I am thinking....Yeah...and it will be a cold day in hell before that happens. I bite my tounge and say...I am really busy right now...I will have to talk with you later on.
How much longer to I have to keep myself from telling her to go to hell. I guess that I will wait until it is final. Holly crap! I am not your God Damn Friend...I am your friggin ex! Leave me alone!
Does anyone have problems like this?

You need to stop this crap now, not two months from now.
For a time, even tho she tried to make me out as worthless and a monster,the ex suddenly saw a need to call on me to get things done. By all rights, I should have told her to fuck off. But, I found it a way to get to see the kids if they were with her. It let the children see their DAD fixing things and not their STEP dad. I made my point with them.
But, since the divorce, I starting putting a gap between us as to such things. Thats part of the reason she stirred up this custody fight. I was no longer available to be her handy man and her nose got bent out of shape.
Since she started playing *nice* again, I've noticed her hinting around about such things again. Ain't gonna happen. Let hubby#4 (aka: Mr Thumbs) handle it.
Or tell her to fuck off.

I just don't want to drop the bomb until I have nothing to worry about. I don't want to have to hire a lawyer and I can stall her until the divorce is over....when that is done I will speak my mind and give her the nice warm glass of SHUT THE HELL UP!
