Do not fake it, be yourself and do things that make you happy. And pep pizza is not bad unless you eat the whole 14 inch, double the meat cheese and sauce. mmmmmmmmmm :)

yes, unhealthy behavior if you really aren't happy at all.. eating a whole pepperoni pizza is ok once in awhile. I will set that as my new food eating goal...

There is that saying...fake it till you make. But i usually lean towards the being real. And i would say anything in excess is not healthy. I know, boring, but i'm trying hard to be healthy these days ;(

What does that mean anyway? Is anyone truly happy? Life will always be filled with ups and downs. Good moments and bad..
It is the joy in the moment that I look for.
We can be in a down period and still have moments or periods of Joy...
We just have to be open to it...

I was in big time denial Rman in the beginning of my separation and those that are my friends here will contest to it...I journaled about positive things and about how everything was great, but deal down I was a very shatterd1 and lost woman...my therapist used to tell me I was the hardest book to read...and for awhile there it got me so far, but in the end I fell hard when reality sunk in....best to deal with emotions head on. Work through them. Some days are easier than others, but when they suck, just stay in the sucky mood and deal with them. One day at a time my friend...that concept worked in the beginning and I still follow it...being an old timer myself...I do promise you one day you will see a light and you will see things lighten up and then you will realize you've started to heal....it's a good feeling...never once in my darkest days thought I'd be there, but trust me one day you will be. :)
