I was following along until you said you would keep faking it. lol. That's your choice, though. Personally, I think it would be a shame not to do something you love. Life does take twists and turns and sometimes things get sidetracked....that happened to me, too. Having my first child changed my path, too. But it is never too late to follow a dream.

One of my sisters has a BIL who just restarted playing in a band (guitar) and he is 47. He gets paid and plays often. He still has another smaller job, but he is so much happier now. He isn't the same person. Very awesome to see him this Summer and see that sparkle in his eye when he talks about it...I hope to see him play next month, when I'm home for Thanksgiving.
