I figured out that I will probably never truly understand why my wife decided to end our marriage. Do I want to understand? Yes. Should I try to understand? No. I just think too much.
I know what you mean. Of course we want to understand, for without a proper explanation of what has caused our lives to be turned upside-down, moving forward seems impossible. How can you move on when you don't know how you got to where you are at this present moment? Especially when you thought your life was pretty darn good??
I am dwelling, banging my head against the wall, you name it...trying to figure this out, as well. I know I won't get the answers I need. But I can look myself in the mirror knowing I gave it my all and he can't because he was playing a role and having his cake..eating it too.
