Breakups & Divorce Support Group
Just broke up with someone or in the midst of a difficult divorce? Breaking up is difficult no matter what the circumstances are. They say that time heals all wounds, but sometimes a listening ear or a hug can work wonders for the heart. Whether you need a place to vent, someone to hold you to No Contact, or need advice about what to do, we're here to help.
I just logged on and noticed that there is a lot less support and activity going on then there was a few months ago. It reminds me of the parenting support group I am in, where you post a message, then hope someone responds within a few weeks time. I guess everyone has pretty much healed and there aren't any breakups or divorces going on anymore. That is a good state of affairs for our society. It shows that people are finally pulling it all together and working it out in their lives.
I come back when I admit I have no @#$% idea what I am doing.
This is one of the more active groups that I have seen on DS and it is sad to see it slow down. I don't have a huge amount of support to give as I am still sitting here with that deer-in-the-headlights look myself.
I come here to keep my mind off of my crap, feel connected to others and offer some crumbs of support when I feel like I can (or not).
I have grown, I have moved on, but I still haven 't figured it all out, so I will stay, lurk, contribute or not. Oh, and hope not to be banned.
*stares at wall in confusion at that conflicting statement*
