I see a lot less support

I just logged on and noticed that there is a lot less support and activity going on then there was a few months ago. It reminds me of the parenting support group I am in, where you post a message, then hope someone responds within a few weeks time. I guess everyone has pretty much healed and there aren't any breakups or divorces going on anymore. That is a good state of affairs for our society. It shows that people are finally pulling it all together and working it out in their lives.

I dunno, I see support being offered. Perhaps many like myself have been trying to stay away from the never ending drama here. I did say TRYING lol, not always successful ;)

Drama or not, we are all there for each other. People aren't going to get a long but then you have people that get their panties all in a wod and it takes away from the group.

I say people need to grow the fock up. Even with drama, this board was always popping. I agree, R dude.

Perfect example, usually you post and in 10 mins you would have 20 repsonses. You have 3, well now 4.

Quality over quantity............ didn't realise that it was a competition to see how many responses a post gets just that the poster got something out of it.
I must try harder and be wittier in my postings in future and then if my post only gets two responses I can feel crap about that too he he!!!

I agree w/you that there is a lot less support, but I agree with Kelly as to why.

I was at a point where I felt like I had nothing to offer in terms of support. Lately, noticing the drop off myself I've tried to make it a point to post my support. I've noticed a few others doing the same and it's nice to see the people rally, but there still is a void.

I have found this is a quick moving room. I can post in the morning, and by the end of the day it's on page two or three.

I'm getting the hang of it and am glad some take their time and give me very helpful advice.

Oh ya, the quality has certainly risen.

If you like:

1. No ownership of your part in anything.
2. Real advice, other that "hugs to you".
3. Kool-Aid.

Better to have one valid response than a large number of inane ones - and like I said I have always found it supportive and god knows have needed the support. I guess people respond when they feel they can add something worthwhile - or as suggested there are less miserable broken hearted people out there than before!

Havent huge amount of experience of the site so don't know what it was like before but works for me and I appreciate all the response I get.
