i don't get the "canadian bacon Vs Ham issue?

I, and all that i know, only eat actual bacon (as in the stuff that comes prepackaged in strips), HAM is not bacon, but is definatley edible as part of the "BIG BREAKFAST" that are so popular in my part of Canada!!

3 Eggs (any style)
4 Strips of Bacon
2 Links of Sausage
1 Round of Ham
1.5 Cups of Hashbrowns (diced fried taters)
2 Slices of Toast
and 2 ounces of headcheese!!!
