But nothing work. Last 6 years of our marriage, she stop wearing her ring, she stop sleeping with me. She stop everything with me. Then i find out the last 2 years she has been cheating on me with multiple guys. We are going through a separation so i moved out. But she is making everything worse by lying constantly. I'm horrified! I knew my insurance would go up due to getting a new car but I didn't expect it to go up over $2,000. I did have an accident with the snow/ice in the winter. I was just telling my brother that I have had my car since March 2, 2026 and have only spent $75 on an oil change. Now this! I called another insurance company and their quote was over $4,000. I guess I have to pay...

We all have 24 hours in a day. How we spend these hours is important. Watching a little bit of a video about how sitting affects us made me aware of how much sitting and laying down I do. Gonna have to work on that.Your turn. Tell me another truth.
advice
whenever you have your daughter, give her time to ease into being at your apartment, i know it is hard but really really really try not be excited & "up",
divorce / separation and all that is tough for kids, i think they struggle with trying figure if they are allowed to feel whatever is they are feeling at the time,
you sound like a good caring father, she needs you to keep a level head because her mom is gone off the rails,
advice,
don't say/ask anything at all about her mom / they boyfriend. if she brings anything up, let her talk, let her talk openly, be mindful it is easy to for a parent to say something to make a kid shutdown
how old is your daughter?
advice,
you are her daddy, you wouldn't put her in jeopardy, you put her needs before yours. when you doubt yourself or the relationship with her, take a breath or two, don't worry, keep on the fatherly path that you have been on
puberty and all those hormones screaming
with the moms boyfriend, if she told you, then she's giving up her mom, maybe she knows her mom is a tramp, if she does - don't make her acknowledge it, if she doesn't ... don't cover for her mom, and don't point it out
there is only one side in this
your daughters side
you be on it, think about what she needs to be a healthy stable mature adult, make all your decisions through that lens
find a few people you can talk to for perspective, the act of explaining to someone else clearly what is your are dealing with will help you to think clearly
consider going to a counselor to "vent", you could talk about what you daughter may be thinking in general
its 10 pm where i am, if your daughter hasn't called you, send her a good night text, don't make her feel bad for not calling, be short & sweet, i'd imagine that she be getting a lot of pressure from her mom to maybe accept the new boyfriend, accept and be happy for her mom, you want to be mindful about not putting any pressure on her
look, you'll handle this, the fact that you are worried about how to handle this shows you to be a man, a father, that is concerned for his daughters best interests, thats good, shes in good hands
I am doing everything you say. But i just cannot reach my daughter. Maybe she moved on without me.
idk, just feeling lost. feeling the other guy she like more then me.
control what you can, you can't control how and when your daughter responds to your texts/calls, there may be 100 "good" reasons why she didn't, AND remember she may not know how to respond / what to say / because she is in the same shitstorm you are and she is 13
Your 100% responsibility is to be a constant in her life that she can depend on to keep acting the same way, kind of like the North star, be who you are - who you say you are to her, no matter how the wind blows, your 13 year needs that from you
call once a day, if you don't speak with her, text towards the end of the day, be short be sweet tell her you love her and to sleep easy
see your lawyer on Thursday, ask about progressing custody and visitation
What do you mean be predictable?
She is coming over this weekend with a friend. We going school shopping..
Trying to think what else to do with them. I was thinking playing a board game , cards and maybe ice cream later.
predictable, her mom is changing everything about herself
be steady & don't change
value what you've always valued as far as principles go
enjoy this weekend,
