How do I stop second guessing my decision...
radrm
My ex left me so many times so this time when he went to his family reunion where his x-wife was and didn't answer my texts all day then two phone calls I texted him and said if you keep up the silent treatment I am packing your stuff up in your truck. He has given me the silent treatment every time we do not agree and I feel it is emotional manipulation and abuse. It is a passive aggressive way to get to a person. I learned that in cognitive therapy I attended for a year. Instead of talking about things he cuts me off physically and emotionally and he had only been back with me two weeks this time when he did it again. I have told him many times I can't live with that kind of treatment yet he continually used it on me. So I made my decision but the things he says to me like "You will never understand anyone not even yourself" hurt me and "I will never take you back" I don't want him to take me back I want him to get all his stuff out of my house and leave me alone so I can move on but I can never get him to get it all out and when weeks go by he starts saying he needs this or that and what that really means is he wants to get back in my good graces. I second guess myself because of the things he says to me like "You always over react" "maybe you have a brain tumor and it makes you like that. Like what???? Like I want him to care about my feelings? Sometimes I think how dare he and other times I think is it me?

I'm horrified! I knew my insurance would go up due to getting a new car but I didn't expect it to go up over $2,000. I did have an accident with the snow/ice in the winter. I was just telling my brother that I have had my car since March 2, 2026 and have only spent $75 on an oil change. Now this! I called another insurance company and their quote was over $4,000. I guess I have to pay...

We all have 24 hours in a day. How we spend these hours is important. Watching a little bit of a video about how sitting affects us made me aware of how much sitting and laying down I do. Gonna have to work on that.Your turn. Tell me another truth.
I think he acts like that because he continues to get away with that behavior. its a way for him to get what he wants and still be able to come back cus he knows, you will take him back.
get the unit.
I wonder why he hasn't yet. Maybe he thinks you're not that smart so he's trying harder.
And Galvatron did you ever consider that he might be the dumb one?
And open themselves up to having a happy life with someone who is emotionally mature...
I think you're doing a great job radrm.
You're doing a great job. You are right, he is manipulating you, and abusing you. Absolutely. You are one smart woman. The silent treatment is a particularly cruel abuse, it says, YOu don't exist...
Glad you are free of him, almost. You're going to have a great life.
About his stuff, I think legally you might have to take him to court and evict him....sounds ridiculous, doesn't it? (I dealt with a similar situation with a family member.) Most people aren't going to go that far though. ...but if he's moved out, that might not apply.
...but you might send him a certified letter giving him a deadline to get his stuff out. That way you have documentation and he'd be less likely to be able to sue you for getting rid of his stuff...(if he's that type).
Let him go and do not waste another minute of your life on someone like this. How I wish I would have divorced my ex 28 years ago when it started. Took me a long time to wake up.
Sending hugs!
