My girlfriend and I are having some issues as of yesterday and I don't know how to deal with them.
some background is she has some depression and she doesn't really have any genuine friends other then me and she says she feels lonely all the time. We do live together
every Wednesday I have my bowling league, something I've done long before I met her, and it's where I've met some of my best friends.
The problems: she has been saying that she doesn't feel like I love or care for her and she has this perception that I just don't want to be around her and that I don't talk to her much ( I'm not the most talkative person to begin with) we live together and I spend ever moment that I have when we are both home with her. There were some real issues in the past with tension and attitude between us but it has since seemed to be a thing of the past. She even said that I had been doing better and had been nicer to her, well last night I had bowling and she wanted me to skip bowing to go to her friends house for a dinner party, something she told me 15 mins before I had to go to bowling, we got into an argument and I ended up going to bowling. She asks me to skip bowling about every other week and even asked me on Tuesday to skip well before learning about this dinner party. She says that she is lonely and it's not fair that I just go out and get out of the house while She is there (I invite her to come every single week, she doesn't want too). The fight got bad to the point where she said she wanted to break up and see other people. When we both got home from different things I was about to go to bed and she just said I still wanna break up and I had no words I was speechless and really wanted to think before speaking. Two mins later she said "we'll see why I don't think you love me because you never talk to me".

Ever since I stopped doing therapy because of insurance, I've been feeling that old tense and irritable sense of anxiety and stress. I hate that. I was making so many strides and changes during therapy, my therapist would acknowledge all of my progress and accomplishments, and I miss that reassurance. Today I thought about it, and I made those changes! She would always tell me that I chose to...

I'm horrified! I knew my insurance would go up due to getting a new car but I didn't expect it to go up over $2,000. I did have an accident with the snow/ice in the winter. I was just telling my brother that I have had my car since March 2, 2026 and have only spent $75 on an oil change. Now this! I called another insurance company and their quote was over $4,000. I guess I have to pay...
I'm not sure if moving in together right away was really the way to go..... I mean, it's your choice..... but then it makes it easier for her to say "Oh, you're going out??? No. Stay home with me…."
You're only 23, you've went through that bad breakup of the other 4 year relationship, and now moving in with someone new, so soon, before you know them that well ...… could you take a step back somehow? As in, not live together so soon?? Not sure how to accomplish that at this point.... Anyway, good to see you back!
No don't stop being yourself and don't stop going bowling she can go with you if you have invited her.
As long as you are not a couch potatoes the other days of the week. y'all are young enough you should be going out on the weekends and doing fun things.
If she wants to leave you should not stop her, if she is not happy why would you want her to stay in a place she is not happy.
Do not be weak to her weakness or low self esteem, she needs to see that in the storms of the relationship you can handle yourself. She needs to see your strength, you need to love her in a way that shows her that you are not afraid to lose her.
Stay strong, stay in the gym, work on your career, and school.
There is nothing wrong with skipping bowling once a month, or cutting out early. But you need your guys friends, as long as they are all partnered up as well.
