I can't help but think about her 24/7. I can talk to her any time i want, play games with her online, and even tell her I love her. She said she loves me the same, and that she just isn't as ready as she thought she was, and we are continuing our ddlg relatinship because its helpful mentally for both of us, but she hasen't given me any signs that she is ready to be together again. I've slowly gotten closer to her again by helping her calm down when shes overwhelmed, and being her safe space from the world, but overall that doesn't make me any closer to making her ready. I know I can't really do that. I just have to wait it out, but im not patient at all. I wan't to be with her again so bad. I can hardly keep my mind off of her no matter what I do. The only time I feel any better is when I am around her, otherwise things feel so bleak. Nothing in this life feels like it has meaning unless it involves her.

I'm horrified! I knew my insurance would go up due to getting a new car but I didn't expect it to go up over $2,000. I did have an accident with the snow/ice in the winter. I was just telling my brother that I have had my car since March 2, 2026 and have only spent $75 on an oil change. Now this! I called another insurance company and their quote was over $4,000. I guess I have to pay...

Also, since you know she has kids and she says she wants a polyamorous situation, it would help if you think more about how you didn't want that type of situation. That you wanted a one on one dating thing. And also, with her having kids already.... it can be kind of difficult to keep this situation going.
If you can focus more on the bad parts of this, it helps to move through it. The problem with putting all of our happiness into just one person is that then they pull this stuff that she's doing to you now. Or, she just isn't around. That's why it's not good to count on one person for all of our happiness. Oh I used to do that, too, that's why I know....
I think what would help is to focus on other parts of your life. How are things with getting that medication (your other post)? How is your Dad doing now?
I can completely understand what you are feeling. And at 21 years old, you think this is The Girl for you. So this all sucks now, and it makes sense that you would feel bad and sad. But you will feel better. It just doesn't seem like it right now, but keeping busy, and helping yourself and your family will help you to feel happier.
That's why I was wondering if you were able to get that prescription written yet (you talked about in another post)? And maybe just spend more time right now helping your Dad. Talking to your siblings. Focusing on your life right now.
I promise you that the pain will get less and less. Staying busy will really help a lot!
Keep writing it out. You are going to be okay. I had a heartbreak around your age and we were engaged, living together, and together for 5 whole years. I never thought I would get over it. But, a few months later, I had moved on, was with a better guy for me, and was really happy. You will feel more happy again soon, too.
I am going to suggest about the same things Girl suggested. Find some activities to do in person. My relative goes to a card shop and plays those modern cards. He does it every Saturday night and has made friends this way. Or go to the gym and take some exercise classes. Or the public library has book clubs, there are meet up groups, etc.
