Just broke up with someone or in the midst of a difficult divorce? Breaking up is difficult no matter what the circumstances are. They say that time heals all wounds, but sometimes a listening ear or a hug can work wonders for the heart. Whether you need a place to vent, someone to hold you to No Contact, or need advice about what to do, we're here to help.
I'm pretty sure "cliques" exist here on this board, as they exist in all parts of society. I have noticed that often support is only given to those who know each other, or who are part of a particular "clique." I know people are going to get pissed at me for saying this, but I just feel that there are many here who really need the support from EVERYONE. "Cliques" are just a part of society. People get comfortable with people for whom they know, and that is fine. I have gotten beautiful support from the people on this board. I just thought I'd remind people that this is a place to heal and to help. I am writing this to remind MYSELF that I should never overlook someone in need, just because I don't know them, or I'm not in their "clique." Just a thought...
I also don't give much advice and/or support because I am here looking for it myself. I do read here a lot but that's how I'm learning to deal with what I'm going through. I'm learning from all of you here. I do add my two cents (for what it's worth - which probably isn't much) when I feel that someone really needs some support and/or encouragement.
I don't really feel like a part of the family yet but maybe in time I will. I'm just glad to be here because you all have helped me in one way or another and I thank you for that!
