They say that time heals all wounds, but sometimes a listening ear or a hug can work wonders for the heart. Whether you need a place to vent, someone to hold you to No Contact, or need advice about what to do, we're here to help.
What do you really expect to get out of DS? I mean, an online support group can only provide so much support. This is not to say that being here does not help with the healing process...I'm simply stating that if you hold DS to such a high standard, then you may be in for a let down during your time here...

what do i expect from ds?
depends on my mood...
in a given month:
appx 2-3 days where i am having a hard time, and feel the need to reach out and seek true support and advice.
a week or two where i am giving out (IMO) advice from my heart.. trying to help others, as they have me.
the rest of the time, whats that, like 2 weeks, i am chillin with my hommies, being entertained and laughing my ass off (thanks shoot the moon and ALC among others...............) aka: passing time.
But I have to say.. on those two to three days when i need support.. and you guys help me and make me feel loved, and heard, and understood... those two to three days are priceless and I can never thank you all enough.

I try to give it, and I know that I've gotten it. And it changed me.
Invisibility check -- I just want to know if anyone can see me? I expect to be able to be recognized on DS, to be able to communciate, that is my expectation.
