Day one of no contact

So I finally decided that it was time for me to stop hanging on and told her that we can't be friends for the time being. Today is my first day initiating no contact. I still feel sad and anxious. Does anyone have any tips for me?

I did text her, to ask if she was going to allow me to see the kids. She has not replied

Omg!!! A year....18 months... 2 days ago was the first day of no contact at her request. Today I broke and went to see her, and it wasn't good. It's unfortunate and I feel the deepest compassion for everyone on here because we're all going through or have gone through some tough times, but it does feel kind of good to not feel completely alone.

I'm sorry about what happened. I don't know the context, but If you've already tried couples' counselling, especially if it were with a wise pastor, then I'd just pray that you will be able to take things one day at a time and find time to heal.
