Ok well the date went good and it went bad.
The date itself was great. The woman I met was very complimentary to me and kept telling me how cute and smart I was; which I must admit my ego needed.
We talked for 4 hours and had a lot of laughs. The conversations were very smooth and not at all staged. We really have so many things in common.
At the end of the night I gave her a little pick on the lips, no tongue or anything, but it was nice. She kind of cornered me by putting herself between me and my car door, so i guess in some ways I felt obligated.
So anyways it was fun. Well the next day I get an email from her basically saying I am the greatest guy she has ever met, and she didnt sleep all night because she was smiling thinking of me.
Well that just wierded me out. I had been honest with her about where im at and I thought she understood I wasnt ready to get mixed up with too many feelings right now.
I just dont think im going to be able to casually date right now. I am just not capable of hurting other people to make myself feel better. Im too good a person to do that, and thats basically what I would be doing right now.
Oh and by the way, I didnt bring any flowers, but I did buy dinner.

It's a very scary amazing feeling when you have been kept low for a long time and suddenly someone comes from out of nowhere and tells you what an amazing person you are. I can imagine that part of you wanted to cry (I know I did)

I respect your willingness to be honest with yourself patton. If your not ready your not ready. As a woman I think I can safely say that a lot of woman will act like they get it and agree that they don't want to be serious either in hopes that the guy will fall for them and later want more. Thats sort of a risky thing to say LOL, but it's true and that may be what you ran in to. Only you know what you need right now, take all the time you need.

My 6mo twin DD's are EBF and just started rice cereal on the first. Everything has been going fine except this morning one of them had a diaper rash (lots of redness around her anus). I read this as one of the signs of an allergy. BUT I did just buy a different brand diaper yesterday (which they have used randomly before w/no issues). Do you think its the cereal or the diaper? Im ready to start...
