For a while I had been debating whether or not to change my last name back to my maiden name after the divorce. I eventually decided to change it back since I liked my last name better and I did not want to carry my ex's last name anymore. I do realize there are cons to doing this, though. Like it's going to be a pain in the butt to change everything and my name will be different than my daughter's. Anyway, I went ahead and changed it with the SS office last month and now the final change with the DMV today makes it official. It's going to take time to get used to my maiden name again after 10 years. I thought I would be indifferent to this change or even happy, but it made me a little sad today. Not sure if anyone can relate. I can't change my mind now, but I'm a little curious on what others have chosen to do.

I too debated the decision I glad I did it... and as a side note.. his new gf has the same first name as me.. OMG.. lol

And perhaps maybe its a little stick it to him.... that he wants to just hurry into his new life and I'm saying hey I will do it when i am good and ready you blankety blank it will be when i am ready........LOl but really its the hassle.

You know, guys can change their last names too. I thought of being an idiot ( bigger than normal ) and changing my last name to my ex's maiden name just to annoy her. I didn't however. Her maiden name is so yukkie.

My 6mo twin DD's are EBF and just started rice cereal on the first. Everything has been going fine except this morning one of them had a diaper rash (lots of redness around her anus). I read this as one of the signs of an allergy. BUT I did just buy a different brand diaper yesterday (which they have used randomly before w/no issues). Do you think its the cereal or the diaper?
