Asking For Second Chance With Ex Girlfriend
I recently broke up with my gf of 5 months. Long story, but cutting to the chase, I regret breaking up and want her back in my life. There was no cheating, lieing, abuse, or incompatability....we just did not communicate well sometimes and that caused some misunderstandings. She now is rightfully upset that I pulled away. She has not committed one way or the other whether she wants to give us a second chance. I think she feels we have a lot going for us, but also may not like that I quit on us. She texted me that I should stop focusing on us and enjoy the rest of the Summer and that she has not decided whether she will agree to meet to discuss reconciliation. This is hard on me as I miss her so much and really want to layout all the reasons we should be together in an email to her. Online advice says to honor her no contact request, but I fear she will move on if I do not say what I am truly feeling in an email. Will she lose respect for me if I lay out all my thoughts and feelings? Or, if she does, then I am thinking we are not right for each other anyway....not sure what to do to get her to see how serious I am and to really know my true feelings for her. Any advice is greatly appreciated. Thank you for reading. Part of me thinks her saying to enjoy the rest of the Summer is that she is done with us and just didn't want to let me down in a harsh way

I'm horrified! I knew my insurance would go up due to getting a new car but I didn't expect it to go up over $2,000. I did have an accident with the snow/ice in the winter. I was just telling my brother that I have had my car since March 2, 2026 and have only spent $75 on an oil change. Now this! I called another insurance company and their quote was over $4,000. I guess I have to pay...

You need ask yourself do you really miss her or is loneliness getting to you? You said “I think she feels we have a lot going for us” if she really thought that she would be trying to reconcile with you right now jmo . I do think by telling you to enjoy the rest of the summer is basically telling you she’s done. You need to respect that and move on .
I am praying when he gets tired of his new girl friend, he will take another look at me and know I am honest and worth a try again.
I do love this man and want to spend the rest of my life with him. But I won't tell him that yet. He has to be part of the decision.
Best of luck. I hope you have a second chance, I believe in them.
She doesn't seem interested in reconciling. In a relationship, we each have our own viewpoint of what happened. She probably felt abandoned, and that you just gave up on you two. So, she moved on. Even if you tried to come back, things will have changed drastically and she would look at you differently from now on, and not in a good way.
It's sad, but sometimes these things just don't work out. Do your best to keep busy, go out with friends, spend time with family. Keeping busy will help you to not think about this so much. Find some other social outlets, meet some new friends. Volunteering is one way to make some new friends. Maybe give that a try. Keep busy busy busy. You will get past this. It wasn't meant to be. Best wishes.
