hello,
I am 17 years old. new to this site. Obviously I am NOT married/divorce/going through a breakup... but my mum is (bad marriage problems). I can't say a lot, but my dad has done some REAALLY bad stuff regarding marriage. My mum is really hurt over this and has contemplated suicide etc. can anyone help me talk to her?
Thanks :)

I am so sorry you and your mom are going through this. She is suicidal because her heart is broken along with many other emotions. I had a daughter around your age when her father left me and I was like your mom...depressed, suicidal. The pain I felt was overwhelming. The only thing you can do is be there for her, be compassionate and kind to her. This may go on for a while and, as hard as it may be, please stay with her and be her support. Although you need to stay focused on school and YOUR life and the divorce is also hard on you, the heartbreak your mom is going through is like something I hope you and my own daughters never have to feel. Also, as life goes on and things improve and your father stays in your life, please never treat one parent over the other. Treat them both fairly and equally. My youngest favors her father and his wife and it hurts me greatly. Please don't do this ever to your parents.

So sorry for your family. Support her, yes, but don't BE her support. She has to reach out to adults for the level of care she needs right now. At 17, you shouldn't be involved in the details of what dad did to mum. Your mom needs to know that she has to take care of her needs AND yours right now. It can't be put on you!! Perhaps look for local support groups and give her phone numbers for her to call. You sound like a very compassionate girl, take care of yourself.

Hugs, you are a very mature girl. Call the mental health line in your community and ask them what can be done. Your mother is going through hell and needs to understand that she has to reach out. But you also need to look after yourself. Did you call the police and report what he has or still doing? They really need to know and record things. Have an escape plan ready in case things turns for the worse. Be safe

I had gone to the grocery store. When I wheeled my cartback to my car I just stool there a minute. A few spacesaway a Tesla Cyber truck was parked. I had seen it on theroad a few times for a few seconds. But not close up.It looked like it belonged to 2126 and not 2026. I wasgoing to take a picture of the car but the owners cameback and drove away. It was an ordinary middle age...
