I'm always wrong. I'm so tired of being wrong. It seems these days, but nothing I do is right. Whenever I d it seems these days, but nothing I do is right. Whenever I deal with the kids, there is never a good decision.
The kids in the neighborhood are horrible to my oldest, calling her names. I talked to the kids' parents, and now my daughter is mad at me because the kids will retaliate against her.
My oldest said today that since her dad left, I've changed. She couldn't say how. I know I've changed. I'm depressed. I almost never cook for my kids. My house is rarely clean. Everything is done at the last minute because I can't seem to get motivated to do anything.
I've started taking antidepressants, but I'm still feeling awful. The good news is I only cry 2-3 times a week instead of multiple times a day. I'm so tired of feeling like this.

I'm horrified! I knew my insurance would go up due to getting a new car but I didn't expect it to go up over $2,000. I did have an accident with the snow/ice in the winter. I was just telling my brother that I have had my car since March 2, 2026 and have only spent $75 on an oil change. Now this! I called another insurance company and their quote was over $4,000. I guess I have to pay...

Of course you've changed. Your whole life has been up ended.
I don't have children, just my dogs and I feel guilty. I'm not healed, I don't want to do anything, and frankly asking me to do anything right now would be like asking someone to get up and walk on a broken leg.
So I guess I'm just going to sit here and mourn for awhile. You still have your kids and their issues, so it must be difficult because you do really need to grieve and heal.
Don't be hard on yourself. You're not playing with a full deck right now :)
After a death the Jewish people sit Shiva, which I always believed was so important even though I'm not Jewish because everyone brings food and gives the bereaved time to do nothing but mourn and mentality and emotionally adjust. I think we need that too.
Give yourself permission to just be a mess for awhile. It's okay really. Don't place expectations on yourself. Just one day at a time.
Yesterday pipe under the sink broke, coffee pot stop working...I don't care anymore. Guess I'll just have to call someone and replace the coffee maker when I feel like it. Who cares.
My little dog needs to go to groomer and shoots me a dirty looks . I love him to death but right now I'm just out if it. He'll live. I make sure they have food and water and then I'm back in the zone.
It is what it is at this point.
Give yourself a break.

To work and just do what i need to do. My zest for

It os a challenge with kids. We must deal with all our fwwlings and emotions and deal with them too. I would so little things for yourself. I try to keep most things same such as makinf meal time with them. Etc.
It's a kind of simple article that contains things some of us have already heard, but for myself sometimes I need to be reminded

but you are in process
and even so you continue to parent with your daughter's best interests at heart
although things may be turning out wrong
you are going right
keep on keeping on, the sun will come out
I know you would rather zone out, but your daughter needs you present. I think or I hope and wish for you to be able to get the energy needed to spend more time out of that zone and with your daughter. Talking, going for lunches or dinners. Walks at night.
The only way I see the two of you getting through this is together.
