Joined DS couple of months ago and then took a break cause husband decided to work things out and things were looking good, promising. He is in the military and is due to deploy again for a year and is leaving in 3 weeks so I've become real anxious and nervous and asking him were we stand. Well he finally fessed up to why he has been all acting up for the last year after he came from his last deployment. He said he fell in love with female coworker that he was deployed with, they spent a year together and even after they came back he havent been able to shake up those feelings for her. To make matters worst she told him she feels the same way. They have been talking, texting and emailing and talking,he said that we grew apart and he bonded with her. He said he haven't been intimate with her but can't stop thinking about her. He said he is confused on what to do cause he has feelings for her but at the same time he dont know if he should get divorce or "tough it out". It's been a roller coaster, he is confused, wants a divorce, weeks later he is working things out, couple months later he is still unhappy and wants a divorce but then decided to work things out and now he is been "honest". He is talking about divorce again, still at home but not emotionally available. He said he stop talking to her and told her he was going to work things with me but he says he still thinks about her. So confused on what to do, I know i should just let him go cause he keeps stringing me along in his emotional coaster but it's hard to let go. He is leaving soon and the plan is for me to move out while he is gone and start rebuilding my life, I think it might be easier cause he won't be here. Thanks DS....best support group site I found :)

I don't really know how to label this but I having a rough week and I can't say it's one thing.... I have a lot on my plate which is nothing new and I try to cope in many positive ways and do but I still have my moments. My kids more so my daughters talk to me about everything which I know it's cause of comfort and we are close.... however I really struggle with the venting about their dad which...

If you do that and he decides at some point he wants to work with you and be a part of your life then great. If not you still have a life and can be happy without him. I'm not suggesting you wait for him or go on without him. Just work on building a life for yourself that you are happy with.
Put your well-being first in all the decisions you make for your self now.
You are moving forward, and when he figures out what is real for him, you will be stronger, independent, and comfortable with your self, so you can accept him, however it works out with him.
Hang in there, and vent here when you need to.
