Bisexuality Support Group
Bisexuality is a sexual orientation which refers to the aesthetic, romantic, and/or sexual attraction of individuals to other individuals of both their own and the opposite gender or sex. Most bisexuals are not equally attracted to men and women, and may even shift between states of finding either sex exclusively attractive over the course of time.

i am bi, but i only found this out about myself lately. i dont know what i was thinking, but for some reason i havent even heard of bisexuality until like some years ago. most of my life i thought a person was either gay or straight. when i thought this, it didnt make sense to me that i was supposedly straight but at the same time i seemed to be attracted to guys as well. so i just shrugged it off and said i was straight cuz i knew for a fact i was attracted to the opposite sex so i couldnt be gay.
i also grew up in an environment that strongly looks down upon homosexuality. my family is Roman Catholic, and i myself am one too. i just disagree with the church about homosexuality. alot of people in my school/neighborhood are unaccepting of GLBT n people i know are even predjuce n plain haters
these two factors are why i am only finding out i am bi now. i didnt know much about it or accept it at first.
later when i found out about bisexuality i started to question if i really was straight. when i started to really think i was bi, i was going to go by what the Catholic Church says and not act upon it. i did some research, and found loop holes in what the church teaches about this. other than this i live by the teachings of the church and of Christ.
so now that i feel convinced that i am bi, i mention it all to my school guidance counselor, and she says i won't know that im bi and not straight for sure unless i dated other guys. i dont see why. i mean, i didnt have to date girls to know that im attracted to them. why would this be any different? but now she got me all confused and im afraid to come out to people i know until ive dated other guys, beacuse if i come out before i do, i may find out in the future that i am straight and i'd look really stupid.
so im just wondering if i should wait to come out or if i should just do it soon, whether or not ive dated. the problem is that i dont want to wait. i am a rapper and i wanna represent the GLBT Community. I wanna fight for our rights and against discrimination and hate. I want to do something like what Jackie Robinson did in baseball for blacks when they werent accepted (for those who havent seen it, 42 is a great movie!). everything is getting held up by this. i dont wanna put out a mixtape mentioning im bi and find out im straight. i truly believe im bi, but becuase of what my guidance counselor said, i keep getting doubts in my mind. also, if i do find that i am bi, what's the best way to come out? and where can i meet other gay/bi people? im not just looking for a boy/girlfriend but just friends in general that are gay/bi/lesbian for support or whatever. sorry its a really long post i didnt intend for that. thank you for reading this, any advice/comments would be great

I was sexually assaulted as a kid. I find it hard to accept that another person's actions caused me so much harm. He made bad choices and now I am paying the price. Stupid PTSD!
I am bi. I have had male interactions, I am also married to a wonderful woman, and have an beautiful son... My wife knows I'm bi, but really doesn't think about it to much...
I have totally loss my train of thought... But if you want to message me, I am open for questions and everything!!
The point is I technically dated a guy and I still ended up identifying as straight. This just shows that your dating "score" has nothing to do with identifying as a certain orientation. You just know who you are. Once I knew what was going on in me (thanks to DS), I identified as bi, not because I dated guys or whatnot. With that said, just reading off of your post, I wouldn't worry of erroneously coming out as bi and then having to take it back because you realize later on you're straight. Your instincts are the answer.
As for support groups, you have DS here! And me lol! There are also countless other welcoming groups online elsewhere, so your resources are boundless!
Fight for what you want! Speak your heart! Good luck!
-I've told my family (i'm not religious so in a way it was easier for me)
-I've never had an actual relationship with a guy/girl
-But i am attracted to both genders
-I just live my life the way I want to, which is being happy and not to get too bogged down with the whole "am i this?"
if you want to talk I'll be here to listen :)
I'm also an incest victim and was sexually assaulted a lot when I was younger because of I got myself into bad situations. I constantly feel a fear/attraction to men and women that can be so scary. A good looking guy checked me out at the grocery store and I can't describe how I felt. It is more than butterflies. I feel so messed up......
