Bisexuality Support Group
Bisexuality is a sexual orientation which refers to the aesthetic, romantic, and/or sexual attraction of individuals to other individuals of both their own and the opposite gender or sex. Most bisexuals are not equally attracted to men and women, and may even shift between states of finding either sex exclusively attractive over the course of time.

Sorry, this post is just a tiny bit explicit...and a little too long :P
I am %99 bisexual. I know that sounds funny but I only say that because I've never experimented with a member of the same sex (I'm a guy). I'm 17 Years old, also keep that in mind.
So i have this absolutely amazing best friend. We've known each other since middle school but only really got close this past school year. Both of us are suffering with depression, on varying levels. Some days its bad and other days bearable. He's been battling it for 6 years and I've only been at for 6 months. It's how we found each other. One day, we were at school and he noticed my scars on my arm even though I tried to cover them up. Ever since then, sleepless nights, cutting, nightmares, panic attacks, we've helped each other through all of it. I love him like a brother.
Recently, I've started to notice some feelings I started having towards him. He's pretty good looking but it's his down to earth personality I fell in love with. These feelings only really came to light one day after we laid on my bed and watched a movie together and just talked, he went home and it was kinda late so I just went straight to bed. I rolled over right onto the pillow he was on and it smelled like...him. I don't know what it was, but it made me miss him so much even though he was there only minutes ago.
Now that summer has come around, we get to spend a lot more time together. Yesterday, he came over and another one of our friends was coming over but somwthing happened last minute and she couldn't make it. We sat in the living room and turned on Insidious Chapter 2. We sat so he was laying down and he pretty much had his legs on top of me but my right leg was under his pelvis. The whole time he kept grabbing me out of fear as we watched the horror movie and I thought it was the funniest thing the way he held onto me until things quieted down on the screen.
At one point in the movie, he spoke up and said "dude, no sudden movement of your arms, I want kids someday" I looked down and realized my arm was pretty much over his crotch, (completely accidental). I was going to move my arm but I realized just what I was feeling under those pants. It wasn't a boner, but it was something. I laughed and moved my hand. I slowly felt myself grow a little hard and I didn't want him to notice so I moved my legs a little bit and it was fine.
As the movie went on, we started heckling each other like we always do and at one point he made some snide comment about my car and I said "Hey, do you want me to give you a blowjob or not?" Now keep in mind this kind of talk isn't new. We always make sexual jokes to each other. This time around though, when I said it we just kinda looked at each other and I was aware of the tension so I said, "Then shut up" and we just laughed it off.
Later, when the movie was over we switched to something on the tv. We were still in the same position and he started to stretch and his pelvis went up and he said "I need something sucked" and as a joke I gave him an annoying "Oooookkkk" and pretended to start unbuttoning his pants. Again we laughed it off. I thought about how easy it would be. No one would be home for hours and I finally wanted to find out if i was %100 Bisexual. It was then did I realize some part of me wished that he was serious.
Should I try to initiate some sort of sexual situation, ask him to experiment? At this point, I don't know if these jokes are actually jokes or hints that he might want to try something new. Now, he's straight. He has a girlfriend who lives out of state. But if it's an experiment, it's no strings attached right? Not on his end at least. I want to try stuff, and what better person to do it with something I love and trust?
Please help!

I was sexually assaulted as a kid. I find it hard to accept that another person's actions caused me so much harm. He made bad choices and now I am paying the price. Stupid PTSD!
Either he's curious too, or... Something!!
But please, tread carefully... One wrong move, and you could really loose a good friend too...
Ask him if he wants to see a movie like "rocky horror picture show" or something like that... Stay away from broke back mountain though...
If he's excited to see a bi or transgender movie, then.... Lol
Think about it this way... Turn the tables.
Maybe he isn't being honest with him self yet, no matter who else knows, and joking is the only way he can handle it right now.. If that was you, and your best friend was joking about it... Would you just stand up and say
"here I am, take me!!"
Probably not...
He's not 100% gay, but he's not 100% straight either... Your friend is bi, yes... But to what degree, I can't answer that... And neither can you. Only he can..
Hang in there...
Be a friend, don't push, but be there.
If he ever comes out to himself, you want to be there for him...
Now I think the key thing here is one word "depression". Being depressed will make you do a lot of things you would not normally do. I know, I've made so many mistakes and stupid decisions because of my depression. My first question is does he know your bi?
I would love to tell you to try to get him to initiate the event. I've done that a lot, wait until we were in that situation where it's like he wanted me to do something, and then doing things that would turn a guy on, but 1 time out of 150 did I not lose that friend. That's like 1/2% of the time that I kept my friend. There were times they left before anything happened, other times we did have sex, then they regretted doing it.
Although I am telling you not to do anything, that is you don't start anything. If he opens up and tells you that he wants a sexual relationship with you, then go for it, but let him initiate the conversation. But, when he does make sure that you ask him several times in several different ways, "are you sure", "are you positive" "you aren't going to regret this later are you". One exception would be if the moment is right, and you know for a fact he wants to do something but is afraid to do it or say anything, then you can start rubbing his shoulders, take his shirt off, and rub his back, and go over the shoulders, and rub his chest and stomach, and see what he does. If he wants you he will let you know, if he doesn't he wont'.
Oh, and if you haven't already told him (I'm assuming you have), that your bi, this would be a good time to do it. Maybe ask him if he's ever had relationship type, or sexual feelings for someone he cared about. But under no circumstance, do you tell him you feel that way about him. Unless he has said it first. It's hard for a straight guy to remain friends with another guy that wants to have sex with them, and gay guys are almost as bad.
Anyway, i want to ask out of curiousity, do you think its harder to become a bisexual because you constantly attracted to other people? I can't be friends with hot guys because they make me stutter. But can talk to girls freely. I can't imagine if i get attracted to every gender.
Like I said, it was totally accidental. And I wasn't grabbing him my arm was just over his crotch ;)
I am bisexual and no one really knows it. I think my friend mentioned above kinda knows I am.
That's funny that you should mention that your trans because right now he is dating someone transgender. A woman that identifies as a man but still with all the girl parts. We've talked about how this affects his sexuality and he's just concluded that he's Pansexual.
Being Bisexual however, for some reason I have a harder time talking to guys (especially attractive ones) I don't know versus girls I don't know even though I find both attractive. It's weird, I don't know what it is
this sort of attraction between best friends is so, so common and often does lead you to beautiful places even if just as a one-time-never-speak-of-it-again thing.
I would advise you to "Netflix and chill" with your friend and then get snuggly until something happens. The signs sound pretty mutual That's awesome.
