I've been with him coming up on 11 years .
He has seen me through some pretty tough times..
He is also my therapist, he knows more about me than anyone else....and he still likes me !
It changes all the time. I have never felt cared about by any of them.
I can only imagine what it must be like to have a regular doctor who
cares. Available 24/7? I can't even get through to anyone on the phone
at the clinic I go to, it goes straight to voice mail. If I have an emergency
I am told to go to the ER. No I don't love my assortment of doctors
Actually, I had an appointment with her on Monday and I missed it because public transportation messed up. (I don't have a car). I couldn't get another appointment until Dec. 9.
My pdoc is very overbooked...she's at a community mental health center, though. She always tells me she's proud of me. Which is nice. And she was kind enough to fax my medications in to the pharmacy on Monday when I missed my appointment.
Love? No...but she's a pretty good one...especially since I've had a lot worse.
I had one guy for 10 years though, he was the bomb, had a very understated sense of humor and was seemed genuinely interested in me.
He moved to the VA and I was very sad. But I know the vets are getting excellent care!
