Who here wears a size 15/17 XL? (ladies only)

I need to know about what weight limit it is. I am trying to loose weight to go down to the 15/17 XL I used to be a couple years ago before they put my ass on the weight gaining meds. I am thinking about asking to be put on topomax to help loose weight. I dunno if she will do it but I am going to try. I currently weigh in at 193 and there's sweet pajama sets at walmart all the time and the biggest size they come in is an XL and I can't get into them anymore and would like to be able to again and need to know about how much weight I need to loose. Gonna start working out at the YMCA the next time their next workout classes session starts.

I have more fat than muscle so XL's are kinda tight on me.....I don't like wearing tight stuff.

Princess, honestly, I think it would be pretty difficult to sweat folding laundry. The key will be consistency, not so much quantity as quality. If you take a walk every day, double the water you drink, and only eat half the amount of food you want to eat at each sitting, you will loose weight. Even if you just decrease your food intake by 5-6 extra bites per meal, it will help.

The kind of foods are important too so it helps to increase your fresh vegetables and fruits. Dont try to get on your wii and do an extreme workout once in a while and expect the scale to drop. Do it consistently and comfortably and you will see the best results.

I don't know what size that converts to here...but what about these fat surgeries that are all the rage? Stomach bands? Apparently people get within healthy weight range pretty effectively with those

Cause some people just aren't cut out for dieting!

I had Lap Band surgery 3 years ago. It has been a disaster from Day One. I didn't lose much weight at all (10% maybe of the weight I needed to lose). Because I could not stop choking or throwing up food that I was supposed to be able to eat with the band, I had surgery to remove it about 6 months ago but the band has caused what looks like permanent damage to my swallowing function. I am now in the process of endless processes to try and fix it. I suffer mental illness so this 3 years of what has become a chronic health problem, has added to my mental state in a big way and continues to.

I am in Australia and the medical establishment has convinced the Australian Government to use Lap Band surgery as a key tool to fight obesity, but I guarantee you the Government isn't hearing about all the not just potential, but REAL serious medical effects of the surgery. My current Gastroenteroligist told em that the science around Lap Banging is brand new. Effectlvely every case is a guineau pig case - especially if you need to get the band out like me.

Just another thing. This sugery is sold as "keyhole surgery". Both when the Lap Band went in and when it was taken out last year, I had multiple deep and wide incisions across my abdomen, which are now huge scars, and they took a long time to recover from - like any invasive abdominal surgery, as opposed to what real keyhole surgery is - a small insicion.

    My 6mo twin DD's are EBF and just started rice cereal on the first. Everything has been going fine except this morning one of them had a diaper rash (lots of redness around her anus). I read this as one of the signs of an allergy. BUT I did just buy a different brand diaper yesterday (which they have used randomly before w/no issues). Do you think its the cereal or the diaper? Im ready to start...
