Bipolar Disorder Support Group
Bipolar disorder is not just a single disorder, but a category of mood disorders marked by periods of abnormally high energy and euphoria, often accompanied by bouts of clinical depression. This is the place to talk about your experience with bipolar disorder, learn from others' experiences, and find support.
I am using the musical chairs analogy because it seems to really fit.
I went to work this morning - and felt really good being busy and engaged. Some fears came
up - but I dealt with them.
When I came home, and had nothing planned and nothing to do...I found myself
getting down on me. I caught myself, so I think I'll be ok.
But my journals really show how I do this.. Drill down etc.. etc...
My answer is to organize something and do more when work is over.
Does anyone else get this way?

So I have been having a lot of health issues and my cardiologist felt that he didn't get clear enough images of my heart in the office, so he wanted to do a Trans-esophegeal heart Echocardiocgram in the hospital. I was pretty nervous about it, because I've never had any procedures related to my heart or any other major organs. I've had knee surgery and thyroid surgery, but to me anything to do...

When it comes to being introspective I set aside a good deal of time to do this, and I adopt a playful and friendly attitude towards meeting worried, upset, afraid or nervous parts of myself because to my way of thinking they only do these things because they are concerned for my welfare in some way!
All the very best mark!
