Just a random question. Do you think as a child you were... a little off? I know I was a lot different than kids my age. To be honest, if I didn't have an MI now it'd be a miracle. I saw things, heard things, went through a lot of trauma that made me withdrawn. I was extremely creative- more so than any of the other kids in my classes. I was very smart- they hated that and picked on me a lot. I used o lose myself in books so much so that the world I read about became my new reality and I'd often finish a book and forget where I really was and what was really going on in the real world. It makes me wonder if things would be different now if as a child I'd seen a psychiatrist. My docs often try to make me go back to my childhood to see if any symptoms presented themselves then and I think quite a number of them did.

Very good at sports, gymnastics. Had tons of friends that I didn't trust because sometimes they would be mean to me and talk behind my back and ppl who actually hated me outright that I couldn't understand why.Being I'm a ppl person. the great pretender, I tried to make them friends too, that was a disaster. With no friends I trusted I was truly alone
My friends told me these girls were all jealous and I knew they themselves were to.. Being I'm a ppl person. the great pretender, I tried to make the mean girls friends too, that was a disaster. With no friends I trusted I was truly alone
. I have to admit, I was very beautiful back then and was ashamed of how I looked because men, grown men and boys at school would oogle me even some teachers. My dad did that to me, made me ashamed and insecure about my looks and my sexualitymy body.
I developed very early training bra in 3rd grade. My mom worked at Saks Fifth Ave so I was always very well dressed.
I always rushed around the halls getting to class with my books pressed to my chest head down.. That made it worse. ppl called me weird behind my back. I heard about it and tried even harder to prove I was normal which made it worse.
Was being abused by my dad, he was a toucher, so I went the extra mile to behave "normally* An overachiever. If I came home with a B it was hell. All of a sudden the touching just stopped. Maybe I got too old..
I always was a little off and shy, despite all the things I did. Sports was a way to distract the pain I was confident in my prowest and security in sports.
I've talked enough. I hope not too long.
I hated my childhood.
