I know some of us don't like to share our middle names, but I like to hear about them. Usually a middle name is named after someone, however embarassing that middle name might be.
Like my fiance...he was given 2 middle names. John and Herbert. Herbert is after his grandfather...he's embarassed of it, but I think it shows the history of his family.
My middle name is Marie...according to my Mom, it's after the "Blessed Virgin Mary". I don't know why she didn't just give me the middle name Mary.

My first name also has a story. My parents were going to name me Tina. My sister, who was 15 at the time, loved the name Julianna after she heard it from a friend. She told my parents about it so they chose Julianna over Tina.
