I dont remember it ,but my wife does . I was strung out on Ativan, Xanax, coke and rum grocery shopping lol singing We Almost Lost Detroit by Gil Scott Heron . Did all the shopping for the week , spent 200 dollars and dont remember a thing.....

So im newly diagnosed with bi polar but it makes the last 2 years of my life understandable now lol when I was on a normal kick I would say wtf was I thinking... anyways I started to golf and was actually ok at it so I convinced myself to leave my husband and kids and move by myself to florida to go to a golf school to get my pro card needless to say 3000 dollars later I was on my way back home almost all my mania episodes involve moving oe spending money on dumb career ideas lol

I wanted to go sky diving. I had a talk with my uncle and the next week I had joined the army. I made it through basic training and 2 weeks in to AIT I got so depressed they put me in the hospital. This is how I found out I am bipolar. The funny thing about this is that unless I'm manic I'm afraid of heights.

I have a few, but the worst one was busting out laughing when my Dad(who is a preacher) was praying before our Christmas dinner. It was so embarrassing, but I just couldn't help it!

Opening the door nude to my landlord and hearing him say you are out !

Oh there's just so many.....but one that comes to mind, was sitting in my car outside a tim hortons and I start hearing a beeping sound. I suddenly think that someone has put a bomb in my car and is gonna blow it up. My mom was with me at the time and I start screaming for her to get out of the car cuz it was gonna blow up. There were people all around too that heard this going on. The beeping was a truck backing up.......

I was chased through my apartment complex by my best friend and partner after I got away from them ( in a manic-frenzy-rage). I then jumped into a swimming pool fully clothed---i was wearing my work clothes at the time which included steel-toed boots. This was around 9:00 in the evening in mid-November.

I guess this is my most embarrassing hypomanic moment...
While being hypomanic I once invited a guy I met online and that I have had a sort of on-and off again relationship with. Anyway, I invitid him over and we watched a movie and had a bit of a hook-up. Just hours after he returned home I started getting paranoid and the next days I refused to answer his texts or phone calls, ending up I was so paranoid I was thinking he was stalking me and even had a male friend talk to him telling him to leave me alone. In hind-sight I know I was just paranoid - the guy was pretty decent and asumingly just worried about me not answering my phone...

I was a music major in college...spent most of college manic...so there's a few interesting ones. But this was by far my most outrageous:

I was a percussion minor and played in a steel drum band. The doors to our music building were "locked" at certain hours during the nights but every music major knew how to "unlock" them and get into the building at any hour. I had already been up for over 36 hours when I went over to the building at 3AM convinced I had the best new way to play the drums EVER. All our instruments were kept in a metal "cage" because the room was used for all different ensembles. Picture a metal fence-like structure that served as the walls and ceiling of a small room. I took out every instrument and attached them with wires, ropes and zip ties all over the metal cage: to the top of it (over six feet in the air), along the sides of the cage, etc, etc. I imagined the band could stand on top of the cage and get a "new sound" this way. Needless to say, everyone was less than impressed with this when we had rehearsal the next day. I never confessed to the band that I had done it. They all thought someone had done it because people were mad at us for going over our allotted rehearsal times. Meanwhile, I was absolutely crushed that the band didn't see it as a cool new "avant-guard" approach to the steel drums!

Some of these stories I read and I'm like "that sounds like normal behavior to me." hmm. Well, a couple of the most embarrassing I can think of were during college when guy I had started dating did what I would call "teasing me then dropping me" so I went to his room and wrote curse words all over it in permanent ink. Years later while married with 2 kids I thought I was in love with one of my girlfriends and I used my husband's electric razor to cut all my hair off using the 1/2" attachment. Yeesh. We are still married, btw. :-)

I have only been moderately elevated and never did anything serious. I did feel good though. Wore more makeup, jewelry, felt fashionable, outgoing, talkative but not too talkative, the world looked like sunshine and roses.

Getting totally drunk despite knowing that I had a work deadline the next day and getting into an argument with bosses that happened to be in the same place. Let's just say that while I'm on medical family leave, they don't want me back.

No way I am not confessing to such questions, I want to see my lawyer, JK LOL

The only thing I remember doing is I bought a lime green suit and thought I was the grandest thing ever. Wore it to Church. Got a few comments. Also I must have been talking a mile a minute because my boss turned around and told me to just shut up for a while.
