The effort it takes to be a separate self is immense. Its so hard to hold up the story and the character, but we get used to it. We learn to keep moving as this individual through life and get lost in one more story. We make ourselves so busy that we can’t remember how to return to what is lost. The separate self with all of its pain becomes all we know. We think that is the best place to be because its all we know. There becomes a strange comfort in the depression energy. It becomes our universal hug. An energy that is dark and painting solitude.
