I have been having trouble with voices for sometime now. I don't know if this goes with bipolar or not but I'm getting close to my wits end. They keep telling me to do self destructive things. There's times I can ignore it but recently I can't. It's so hard to keep it together when there's a voice always pushing you toward the wrong things. I started cutting again just to quiet them down but I know they want me to push it further. I don't know how much longer I can handle this.

Cutting and hearing voices on top of what just happened with the drinking and requiring a trip to the ER sounds like you need some serious help and you need it NOW.

Please go back to the ER and tell them all this.
It's not a question of how much longer you can handle this.
You're NOT handling this.
You definitely need help to do so!!

I may go back to the ER. I'm scared of how long I'll be gone. I don't think I can drive myself.

Hope you getting the help you need ATM. Helps sometimes to drown the voices out with music. Ipods and personal mp3 players become a must for SZ ans SZA sufferers and people who suffer badly with voices.

I battle with voices daily. I used to cut to get rid of them but soon they grew resistant. Do you have a therapist? Maybe meds can help? Know you are not alone.

    Once again I've had a fever today. I'm not going to the hospital because that's a huge waste of time but I did schedule a dr appointment for Wednesday afternoon.
