Bipolar Disorder Support Group
Bipolar disorder is not just a single disorder, but a category of mood disorders marked by periods of abnormally high energy and euphoria, often accompanied by bouts of clinical depression. This is the place to talk about your experience with bipolar disorder, learn from others' experiences, and find support.
The best thing that used to keep me in shape was dancing. I don't go out dancing anymore. It's fun to dance around in my den, although I haven't done that in a while. I am doing 50 situps a day. I started 3 days ago. So far so good. I have a great way to do them that doesn't stress your back so bad but is still working all the muscles in abs and back. Msg me and I will step it out for you.
I don't suggest altering your diet until you can establish some type of daily exercise regimen, even if it is situps only. The reason is that you will need the confidence you have built up with those situps to keep you dedicated to your healthy eating habits. I don't really like the word diet. Best of lyck. Let me know how it works for you. Maybe we can motivate each other.
She said to have small reasonable goals.
Right now she gets winded walking down her driveway. She does that until she has mastered that.
Her next goal is to walk about double that amount to the neighbor's basketball goal.
I guess she was saying to start at what you can do and go from there. For each of us it is a different goal. It sounds good to me.
No...don't really...just saying ;)
haha x
just saying... do it cause you love yrself, not cause you hate yrself.
Apologies xx
long way to the ground - ouch!
I'd love to subscribe to that, but sometimes- for some people- that just isn't realistic.
started on an exercise program. I go to the
Community Center Gym and walk the treadmill
about fifteen minutes. ( Not trying to break
any speed records either! ) I am also doing
some stretching exercises. Then I will do some
light weight training later. I'm also just
trying to eat better. The ice cream has to go
for awhile. LOL!
