The "high" Days

Today, I feel like I'm on top of the world :) I'm in one of those stupid-giddy-happy moods and just want to cut up, laugh, and enjoy myself! I don't even know why! Yesterday, I didn't want to even make the effort to get out of bed and today it is dreary and rainy. I've decided to just enjoy my "highs" and, when the "lows" come around, just try to hang on to the fact that I know they will pass. It probably won't be as easy as I'm hoping, lol. Anyway, I just wanted to share in hopes of "spreading" any joy :) However, this feeling keeps me from wanting to work...at all...

How is everybody else feeling today?

Bleh, I'm just bleh but I'm ok with that. I don't wanna be high, I don't wanna be low. This mid pointis quite alright. I'm terrified of the other ends of the pole. Enjoy yourself but please be careful and don't stop taking your meds if you have any.

I wish I could feel like this all of the time!! Although, I am completely unproductive because I am all over the place.

If you are having constant highs and lows Serenity it might be more about personality??? perhaps.... Bipolar is cyclical 'usually' with periods of stability in between the cycles
Seeing a psychiatrist would be your best bet on getting a diagnosis and treating symptoms... I'm glad that you're feeling good today though!!

I'm having an absolute wonderful day here in Nebraska. I just got done having a long conversation with my friend from Italy and it was very uplifting. I wouldn't say that I'm having a high, but I do feel very good.

I saw my doctor today and she described it as hypomania. She put me on Depakote. I'm still feeling pretty good today! I'm going to have to put forth extra effort to focus and be productive at work, though.

There must be something wrong with our culture here in Ja. No matter how high or low I get, no matter what crazy stuff get into I'm not put on anything. Heck, it took my pdoc over a month after my first suicide attempt to put me on anti-depressants. Once a week, slow release. I got temporarily prescribed sedatives. I'm not saying drugs are the cure all, end all but I hear everyone else on DS talking about how their meds have helped and I'm like, I want a little help too. (Yes, this is me being totally jealous and knowing no matter what I won't be given meds for at least another year. Yaay. Sucks)

I can fluctuate quickly as well, but most days I'm Grand.

Grand is good! I'm hoping that, with the Depakote, I'll balance out to good place :)

    Hey all, i know its been quite awhile since i posted on here. Its been a summer all right. Its been something else........... You know how they say not to open the can of worms? Well a few months ago i decided to find out what my due date would have been for my first baby, the one conceived by r***. My baby would have been due on March 4th of 2006. They would be 20 years old. I was R**** on June...
