I have often discussed this with my husband, but with a different disorder.

The disorder I speak of can have very intelligent people, no social skills, function well alone, and view things in a whole different manner. I love them. I do think the one I'm thinking of is a form of evolution.

Please don't try to guess which disorder I speak of out of respect of those who have it. It is a very wide spectrum and all of my family members have it to some degree.

this is wild. i've been reading up, and watching tape on a lot of evolution stuff. modern genetcs and micro biology pretty much prove there is no evolution. all the stuff evolutionist philosophy clings too is just variables in dna that alterations, but no mutations. its wicked fascinating.

I'm not a pure evolutionist.

I believe that God created the world and I am a believer in the Holy Trinity.

I do believe that evolution occurs in humans and animals to make them adapt to a changing environment.

evolution is not adaptation. its mutating into another species.

I think generally we have left natural selection in it's normal form some time back. Humans would breed in their teens and be dead before they were 30. Probably even those of us with poor eysight would be selected out. ("lion?, what lion?")

Nature favours those that breed fast. Many BPs have chosen not to have children.

Other diseases may seem to offer a higher level of intellectual capacity but they often have difficulty in relating intimately with others. Therefore they tend to have less children.

My guess is the not too bright but sociable "mongrel" (ie maximum genetic mix) would be nature's choice. (The nazi's master race was always doomed to failure, just ask the last Russian Tsar).
