I notice that when I am not expected somewhere, like work or an afternoon at my parents' - I tend to become 'the blob'
That may be a little harsh but I think what I am trying to say is - instead of making mental peace my goal - I think
I am started to see mental peace and viability my goal. To keep healthful and functional.
I am glad I have noticed this - because now I am learning to motivate myself beyond my soothing routines
and keep myself active. I mean I usually try and do things
that are like orderly which is soothing - like watch shows I like - - and yet many times stuff my face with food too.
I think I am now seeing that my soothing routines are now ready to shift towards those things - that keep me calm and functional.
Things that keep me ok inside and living out there in the world. :)

I was pretty nervous about it, because I've never had any procedures related to my heart or any other major organs. I've had knee surgery and thyroid surgery, but to me anything to do...

Are you talking about resting sweetie ?....I do toooooooo much of it now and what's worse I give myself permission to do it
Big hug...xo
and down. I should probably tell my Dr. about this. From my pit in the ground I wish you all light and lightening of your loads. Peace :) MM
