My Psyciatric Nurse Practioner say it look like my current meds aren't working for me anymore and I agree. She gave me literature for several new medications. Those are Latuda, Vraylar, rexulti and Trintellix. Before I make a final decision, I would like you opinion.
So far I'm leaning toward Latuda but that's not written in stone. Hugs everyone.

I'm feeling down,, and got alot on my mind right now. I got grief going on, on top my depression and anxiety and now I got to worry about somewhere to live since I can't afford living here since my mom passed. So many bad things have happened since my mom passed. One thing after another it seems. Yesterday our fence fell from a storm that hit, had to call someone to prop it up. Thank...
Trintellix is an Anti-Depressant and you can't take that alone without some type of Mood Stabilizer or it will most likely make you go Manic/Hypomanic. BiPolars cannot take Anti-Depressants on their own.
If you want more particulars on the side effects of the Anti-Psychotic meds let me know and I can get you those or I can direct you to a site where you can find them. Rexulti is generally not prescribed on it's own, its usually an "add-on" med for when a persons med cocktail is not work as is.
If you have any questions, feel free to ask, and I have no problem answering them if I can.
Take care,
Kat
It's great that you're changing meds sweetie... You haven't felt well for a while... I hope that the change will go easy on you.... Big hug....xo
Latuda isn't the same as Lamictal. My meds. provider is excellent. If Latuda doesn'r work for me, she'll try something else.

I'm very sorry you going through such a difficult time. Big hugs.
I hope you and your Pdoc reach an agreement on a new medication, I know it's hard when you're trying to work, raise a child and be stable. The right medication is definitely key.
Take care,
Kat
I'm still glad you are going to make a switch...

I am on Lamictal at 200mg. Still could go all the way to 400mg.
It takes so long to dose up. Also I feel like I'm struggling. Has anyone switched from Lamictal to something else?
They are really pushing me on Lamictal and trying to get me off Seroquel. The Seroquel has been helpful and I want to stay on it. I have an appointment with my psychiatrist next week.
