Oh yes indeedy. I surely have gone through this, maaaaany times.

Short of tranquilzer blow darts, which I have not yet tried, they have to give me 800 mg of seroquel + 4 mg of Xanax + 8 mg of a Rozerem cherry on top and then I'm knocked out KAPOW for like 10-12 hours.

Incidentally, Oscar Wilde only slept for 20 minutes every 4 hours. Worked for him.

I have a very hard time getting to sleep, but when I finally do I can sleep for 10 hours. Before I started taking meds I was taking Melatonin to stop my brain from all my thoughts, It was working really good. But I am new to this meds thing and I don't know If I am allowed to take Melatonin or not.

Meletonin is natural so i am sure you can take it , I just don't know how much we can take without messing with our meds.. I know you get it from natural sources tho.

THey say you should still rest even if you do not sleep for at least the rest of your body can have rrest even if your mind ca't but I can't stand it If my mind is goping I have to get up and do things.

I do too! I am going through it now and got suicidal thoughts in my head. I sleep about 1 hour and up all day but I am so tired and get this energy in spurts to do stuff. Like laundry dinner , take out trash etc....
Everything I have tried does not work either. No matter if it is otc meds or Precsriptions. Maybe your doctor can give you aomething else?

I did hear that melatonin fucks with our cycles even without meds, but I also heard that it helps stabilize the cycle too. All I know all this stuff is messin with the brain LOL

i just have a hard time getting to sleep i cant shut off i do take trasodone that thay say is to help but it gives me bad dreams or i think that is what is doing it

I used to have horrible nightmares all night until I started lamictal, which I also take at bedtime.

Yes, I have odd sleeping patterns lately. Klonopin and Geodon help me sometimes, but not all of the time. Sometimes relaxation cd's work too.

Hey Nick, talk about weird sleeping patterns, man do I have them. Some days I sleep for 12-13 hours get up for maybe 2 then go back to bed for another 6. Other times I sleep for 4 hours and am up for 24. I finally gave into it and just sleep whenever I get sleepy. Best of luck and hope to catch you soon.
