Is it a good idea to explain my situation in depth to my principal? I have morning cafeteria duty two days a week and I get very panicky when there is confrontation. It's all I can do to get through it. What do you think? Suck it up and deal with it or go ahead and out myself?

I hope it goes well for you This is the way I think to stop the stigma by
dealing with things honestly
And remember once pandoras box is open it can never be closed how many years or months do you have left to live with the worst case scenario! Tell your pdoc what you're thinking of doing first please but if it was me l'd say nothing yet. And if the confrontation issue gets out of hand for you lie about the reasons why you can't but a mental illness can have people running and whisphering.
Tell the school psychologist what is going on.
