We have a family member who isn't doing well these days. It breaks my heart to see her doing so poorly. Her name is Morgan and she is one of my parents dogs. She was diagnosed with lupus years ago and put on medication with only a year or so to live. That was many years ago and she has been doing great, such a good dog. I found out today that she isn't doing well and they don't know how long she has to live. I was able to see her today and it made me happy and sad all at once. I recently had an uncle die and I feel more sadness at the thought of Morgan passing away. I feel so much love for that little dog. She's a fighter, I just don't know how much longer she can fight and I don't want her to suffer.

I got grief going on, on top my depression and anxiety and now I got to worry about somewhere to live since I can't afford living here since my mom passed. So many bad things have happened since my mom passed. One thing after another it seems. Yesterday our fence fell from a storm that hit, had to call someone to prop it up. Thank...
I know the pain of losing a pet. Be strong Pagan Can you spend more time w/her? Take photos too...I always have a photo album ready for my pets that pass on.
Are they making her as comfortable as they can?
I'm with you Pagan....yes, it hurts. But you have TONS of friends here to lean on.
Keep us apprised of her condition.
Glad you were able to spend time with her. Dogs never feel sorry for themselves xo
When one of my pets pass it comforts me knowing they had a long happy life and I'm sure Morgan is being treated the same.
My OA Sponsor had a Dog that died recently. She got him from the Dog shelter she used to volunteer at. She was showing pictures of him on her Mobile on Sunday.
Hope and pray Morgan recovers.
I wholeheartedly agree pets in so many ways are what friends and relatives can never be....
Doesnt make saying goodbye any easier....
