Hi all. I'm HannaHana. I've been on DS for about 7 years (under 2 different aliases). I haven't been on here in a long time. I don't know most of you on here anymore, and I'd like that to change.
I won't tell my whole sob story here. I'll let it out little by little when the need arises. I would like to know who you are though. Would you mind telling me who you are and a little about yourself? I'd very much like to get to know everyone again and not feel so lost on the boards.
As for me, I'm 33, have a 13 year old daughter, 10 year old son, live in Maine, USA. I live in a strange living situation (with my mother), and living with my Mom isn't the strange part about it. I am currently in school for medical transcription, though I'm not sure yet if I'll be able to return to work. I've been on SSDI for 7 years and am just looking for a little extra support. :)

Life has been really hard this past year. I'm really feeling down and alone. I can't talk to my family about my depression and anxiety their not very understanding about it. It's really hitting me since my mother passed a few months ago, plus stress from having to eventually move. When i was in the ER February 16th 2025, i was being admitted to ICU where i was for 3 weeks, then had to relearn to walk for 3 weeks in another hospital rehab floor, the nurse told me something that made me feel for over 18 months now that i was finally *safe*. She told me that the guy who raped and beat me 21 years ago now almost 20 years at that time, was in prison as of a month before that...
