Okay I am gonna bump this to the top and hopefully someone will answer.....daughter was sick last weekend and sickness when away....couldn't get her in to see the doc he was out all week. Anyhow Daughter now has virus and scinusitis and husband says he can't pick up motrin needed for pain because of lack of funds.....am supposed to go visit parents on Thursday and they won't want me to come over cuz of said sick child and I need a support system NOW because I am freaking out. i already wrote in my journal at home and it did not help. Someone STOP me from threatening divorce with husband. We have credit cards.....he didn't even mention charging motrin on a credit card. But if I am sick he'll charge my meds....so what's the big deal....he FLIPS out on ME because my daughter's sick,. it''s not like I could do anything about it if I didn't take her to the ER who knows what would have happened. HELP!!!

did I mention I am manic and have a 9:15 dentist appointment tomorrow???

poor things i hope you and your daughter feel better. not sure what advice to give, except he'd be charing that fuckin medicine for my child i know that much!
i'd put my foot down(or in his ass) and let him know this is unacceptable that he refuses to get your child medicine when she is sick. what's up with that anyway?!

I'm sorry you're going through this. It's unreasonable and I can't understand it. As a father I would go to any lengths to obtain medicine for anyone in my family. I don't get it.

Well I don't have any kids,however, it seems if she needs meds that is important. Do you have any aspirin you could substitute till you can get the motrin?

Well I went to the dentist to have them tell me that they were full of whatever and couldn't take me in and as for an update on the medicine He bought cheap motrin that costs less than 30 for the script and there is a dose on the bottle that the ER wants her to take so that should be just fine. Thanks......I am still pissed....don't know how to get over that one.....
