I gained a lot of weight because of the meds and now nothing fits me and I don't feel like buying new clothes , I was never skinny but this is atrocious , 220 lbs is a lot for a 22 year old , I feel like I'll never get married of have kids because no one will ever like me . I started going on a diet , I should say I changed my entire life style , no coke , no carbs , no fat , no Mac or pizza , lots of tuna and veggies , but still I don't think I'll ever be skinny or HEALTHY . I'm frustrated.

Hey all, i know its been quite awhile since i posted on here. Its been a summer all right. Its been something else........... You know how they say not to open the can of worms? Well a few months ago i decided to find out what my due date would have been for my first baby, the one conceived by r***. My baby would have been due on March 4th of 2006. They would be 20 years old. I was R**** on June...

Big hug for you sweetie...x
im on some psych, some health, some pain meds and i gained 129lbs with my highest weight at 244lbs...i switched some of my psych meds to non weight gaining ones and changed my eating habits with portion control and lotsa water fish veggies and yogurt
im 5'2"...i was 222lbs on the 22nd of august...i just weighed myself this morning 216.8lbs its coming off for me and it can come off for you too...i know its frustrating...if you need to buy clothes that fit try going to a thrift store, so you wont pay full price for something that is a temporary fit
try not to be so hard on yourself, i hope you find a mate that loves you for you good luck with your weight loss and healthy eating
you are not alone
sweetie if someone only likes you for your size or lack of it they are not worth your time nor do they deserve your heart. I once heard that bipolar people were considered to be some of the most attractive. who would make that crap up? beauty is not only outside either I know you probably heard that and you are probably like me rolling your eyes at it but trust an old lady it is true.
I finally bit the bullet and bought new clothes. It feels good to be in jeans again. I don't feel pretty and my running hobby is really curtailed by my weight. I walk now and although I don't diet - I just don't eat nearly as much as I used to so I hope that will steadily decrease my weight.
My doctor dismissed my weight gain at every visit as "oh' just four pounds" or "just five pounds" -- it was pretty serious to me. :(
Good luck
Just a diet tip from someone who has been there... sounds like you may be restricting yourself WAY too much. Sugar and fat and carbs are not bad for you if you do it in moderation. Sometimes having a bowl of regular ice cream just feels so damn good. In weight watchers no food is off limits, you just have to be accountable for it.
Good luck on your journey.
It would be so much better if the weight came off as easily as it comes on!!!
Actually, 'no carbs and no fat' is NOT conducive to being HEALTHY.
I hope you don't mean that literally!!
You've got to get SOME carbs (the good kinds) and SOME fat (the good kinds) into your diet if you want to stay or get in good health!!
Hahahaha!!! I have clothes of all sizes!!!
Some pants that I probably won't be able to fit into until about 6 months after I'm dead!!!
Yet, delusional hope springs eternal and I can't make myself get rid of them!!!
You're doing the right thing, changing your lifestyle rather than 'going on a diet'!!!
Good luck to you!!!
Keep coming back here for encouragement and support!!!
