I did the dumbest thing today. I charged my earbuds, unplugged the block and put the block in my little bag instead of the earbuds. I wasn't happy about that when I got to the gym. What a dummy!

Thanks for this great post.
The world is largely neutral. It's full of beauty, wonder and love. There are also dangers, less so now for those of us in the West.
Here is a Buddhist parable. There is a length of rope in a market. One person walks past sees a valuable necklace and reaches for it. Another sees a poisonous snake and runs away. Finally the wise man passes and sees that it is simply a rope.
We need to simply see what is, not what we think is.
I agree to hug your family....I feel that a great deal as mine has passed ...love and treasure them...xo

Sir Pepper may have said "all we need is love", Yet in their White Album John told us "happiness is a warm gun" and Charles Shulz told us that "happiness is a warm puppy"
Fear is both a catalyst for survival and mayhem. Love can bring you both as Kim Mitchell sang "sometimes being in love is like being insane"
Personally I ain't ascairt o' nuth'n but somethings sure piss me off. I don't own a gun and never have. I can't see me ever owning one let alone borrowing one in an effort to dispel some identifiable fear. Then again I can't see me being the owner of a puppy either.
But love and happiness are mine to share when I have an abundance of them. When I'm low on either I take strength in knowing that karma will soon enough replenish any that I might require for survival and sanity.
Try not to let the bastards get to you OP
