Hon, what do you think the dry heaves are coming from?

Okay BP -- you're not answereing so I'm assuming you've gone to the shower. If you're vomiting you're not going to be able to keep the pill in anyway. I looked it up, it says to take the missed pill as soon as you remember but not too close to your next dose, therefore skip the dose. I think you should skip it since your vomiting and it probably won't stay down and just take it in the morning. Take a shower, put on some soothing music, try to relax and call your doc office to tell them what happened today. I've missed a day on lamictal and never had any symptoms but everyone is different is lamictal is one that stresses not missing at all. I'll be up for a short while longer if you need me okay?

She could call her local ER to get recommendation. Maybe 1 1/2 dose? I don't have info on how potent lamictal is. But since it is a new and likely potent drug, she should have a Dr.s advice, you think?

took the shower made me feel a tiny bit better. dry heaves are from my nausea.....took two tylenol extra strength to help the head ache with some oj.....quickest thing I could grab (sorry about that) am sick to my stomach still haven't thrown up yet. I think I am going to go to sleep. The tylenol may kick in and cause my head ache to go away.

Certainly couln't hurt. I did look it up, same thing they will do, but yeah, getting the info from the doc is a good, very good suggestion in this case. Thank you star.

BP -- Try that hon, call the ER, explain the situation and ask how you should take the meds now. okay. Just so we're sure you get them the right way. Be sure you let them know you're vomiting too.

called psych unit....nurse responded....told me to take it 2 am and then take it at noon and that it shouldn't hurt. So I will.

will be getting my meds before 2 am. =) My husband is to the rescue. There are reasons why I am still with this man. This is one of them.

Thank you nana.....as soon as I get the meds into my system my headache will slowly go away then I need to take one in the morning to continue the stream of meds in my system and then continue to take them at the reg dose until they stop working

took my meds, and four pieces of toast later nausea is starting to subside. Will be going to bed. Headache is finally starting to leave. Thanks everyone!

I didn't want to take the energy to start a new thread. But I am not vering towards suicidal anymore, no headache or nausea. My medicine is working fine now. =) Thanks everyone.
