Bipolar Disorder Support Group
Bipolar disorder is not just a single disorder, but a category of mood disorders marked by periods of abnormally high energy and euphoria, often accompanied by bouts of clinical depression. This is the place to talk about your experience with bipolar disorder, learn from others' experiences, and find support.

Personally though, I do not believe in unconditional love or should I say I don't believe it's healthy really. What if they hit you? Unconditional love dictates that you stay with them. I just don't buy into that.
This stands true for lovers, spouses, friends and family to me.
Unconditional love isn't healthy in my opinion. It may sound wonderful and even romantic but it's not. Love is something that should be given after it's been earned. And then both people need to continue to nurture it for it to truly work. Handing love over to someone else regardless of their actions is asking for heartbreak. Forgiveness is a good trait but if taken to far can lead to the same problem. Continuing to forgive inexcusable actions isn't healthy. Having the ability to be compassionate and forgive is a good thing if it isn't taken to an unhealthy extreme though.
I think trust and honesty are the two most important ones. If you don't have any trust in the other person, in any kind of relationship, it won't last. And honesty is a big one too, if there isn't honesty then there can't be trust.
