Where have the days slipped,
The weeks passed
The months gone
The years vanished?
Where did the smiles disappear,
The fun go
The sunrises rise
The sunsets set?
Where did the time fly,
The leaves turn
The springs begin
The summers die?
I wonder...
Did I forget to allow them
To enter my life
And gently fulfill it?
Bibiane/2011
drifting comfortably, close to the shore.
Not knowing the current is picking up speed,
getting close to the edge, no warning to heed.
At first I don't realize Im starting to spin,
the hole like a vortex is sucking me in.
slip into the shadows, I now sense it's begun,
that feeling of loneliness, I'm the only one.
No one around me, I look here and there,
every ones too busy, they don't even care.
Faster and faster towards the middle I spin,
to that dark empty place, no light can get in.
There's no hope at this point, I know I can't win,
only hopeless despair, I don't want to give in.
But there's no love in sight, no understanding,
I'm all alone on this lonely flight.
Into the vortex around and around,
each day going lower, oh where is the ground?
If I could just feel it, and know that its there,
then maybe I'd walk from this pit of despair.
But I keep on sinking, I don't know where to turn,
should I keep on fighting or just give in?
I hope against hope that I'll see the Son,
In His glory there waiting for me, the low one.
Will He lead me to heaven or back to the earth,
Will I see the sun shining and feel a new birth.
Will I wake up tomorrow, will this feeling be gone.
Will there still be the darkness, will there be a new dawn?
Will I find my way home and be safe on the shore ?
And this endless whirlpool spin me no more?
I never quite know how the story will end,
Just when it seems over it's beginning again.

I wish just words could make things okay
But I miss you more than I can possibly say
Though you are not here to see me grow
There's simply so much I want you to know
So much time, Mom, and oh so many years
Cannot, will not, change the impact of my tears
And though I cry, this much remains true
There is so much I've learned from you
Your life, to me, was such a huge gift
Just the thought of you makes my heart lift
I miss you, Mom, you must know that much
I long for your hugs, my heart they did touch
Your last words truly meant the world to me
For I love you too, Mom, this you must see
And nothing can take those three words away
They are in my heart, where forever they'll stay
Despite the array of clouds and murk
There is a place a rainbow does lurk
Though it may not be so easy to view
You must look past, beyond and through
All the dusk and all the rain
Midst the chaos and the pain
Deep inside of you, it would seem
Lies a great wish, a new sort of dream
Follow that all the way, my dear friend
See where it leads, dont give up til the end
Hold fast and tight onto that rope
Whatever you do, just dont lose hope
For all the things youve wanted to be
Are all within reach, you just cannot see
Through the valleys, and over the peaks
I promise youll find what your heart seeks
If you push through one more day, even hour
The downpour may be just a quick shower
I often wonder what tomorrow will bring
Will the birds awaken me with sweet songs?
And will I find all for which my heart longs?
Maybe my sorrows will be long forgotten
Kicked to the curb, as several might say
Allowing in a brand new, brighter day
Oh joyous wonderings of sparkling new morns!
What a delightful amazement you are!
No matter how near you seem, or how far!
I'll push on one more day, minute by minute
Taking things as they come, both bad and good
Knowing that life will turn out as it should
Manifest as `we'
Those thousand-thousand shapes
Enclosed in mystery
I'll show you all my semblance,
Infinite, rich, divine,
Those muddled forms, those changeful hues,
See, in this face of mine
Wonders unnumbered
A lonely prince...
Behold,
You are the universe.
The sullen widow looked past the fierce reflection in her mirror,
Grasping on to what might be left of her humanity.
Her only request was the sublime worship of her
Lush of a husband.
She was wrapped in a cocoon of unspoken fear,
Her humble presence was longer required.
She was ripe with anger as a shriek rose in her tight throat,
Bubbling to the surface.
The rust colored blood now stained her hands,
Her wedding ring coated in his death.
She is free.
I remember what happiness felt like,
On the cool breath of an autumns breeze.
Lying on the damp grass,
We were lost in a childrens corn maze.
Staring at the strikingly blue sky with such bewilderment,
Perfectly content, surrounded by the radiance,
Of your soul- equal to a thousand Suns.
The cotton-candy clouds tumbled by as we laughed.
I snapped a photograph
To lock you in my heart.
I look at that old, faded photograph sometimes,
To bring myself back to that place.
A place of unyielding wonder and joy;
The rough, unknown territory of my first love.
A place of excitement, new and old;
As fresh moments become soft memories.
A place of true love,
Your love, the personification of perfection.
I look at that picture now,
Just to remember what happiness felt like.
