Bipolar Disorder Support Group
Bipolar disorder is not just a single disorder, but a category of mood disorders marked by periods of abnormally high energy and euphoria, often accompanied by bouts of clinical depression. This is the place to talk about your experience with bipolar disorder, learn from others' experiences, and find support.
I am new to this site, but thought it might be helpful. Everyone that I know and thought was my friend wasn't so I basically just work come home and watch netflix. I just stopped caring about everything a long time ago. I go to work and pay my bills, but that is about it. I still can't finish a degree even though I have all the prereqs for nursing , but I couldn't pass the Kaplan exam ( I only took it once) and gave up. I am really bad at tests like that and I get frustrated and feel stupid when I can't pass something and then that just pisses me off. And in reality my way of dealing with everything is just give up and forget about it. And its hard to talk to people about being bipolar . I dont really anymore, unless they are a good friend, but I dont have any friends anymore. Everyone that I thought was my friend just was when it convient for them , but when I really needed someone there no one was and that really hurts. Especially since I am always there for everyone else.

I'm feeling down,, and got alot on my mind right now. I got grief going on, on top my depression and anxiety and now I got to worry about somewhere to live since I can't afford living here since my mom passed. So many bad things have happened since my mom passed. One thing after another it seems. Yesterday our fence fell from a storm that hit, had to call someone to prop it up. Thank...
I think you are being way too hard on yourself I commend you for working I am trying myself to get a part time job and am having great difficulty also being nervous since it has been so long since i have worked I get SSDI and it is not enough I am married and it causes a lot of fricktion in my marraige I dont know what to do about it since I have many physical illnesses too that cause a great deal of pain.
I dont have any friends either some times my depression gets so bad I cant even get to my lap top and open it up to reach out I run a personal support group which is good for me I had one for 8 years and closed it and recently opened a new one and came here the one I run is small more personal I have known some members friends for 6-8 years and they feel more real I need that I have a neighbor after living in this house 6 years I finally met someone my age and etc but it turns out she found out about my dx )diagnosis) and is asking me for my meds I mean she is blowing up my cell phone with text I really dont see what is wrong with me why i cant hold friendships my family the little i have cant handle my illess even the physical ones, so Ihave nobosy since my marriage is so rocky I think any day now it will end
Again dont be so hard on yourself have faith not meaning religion in yourself you are doing the best you can thats all we all can do and you are working keep it up take some time for you do something for yourself like even if it is just a bubble bath with lots of bubbles to sit back and chill remember the only thing that matters is what you think of yourself not what anyone else thinks although easier said then done I will be thinking of ya LOL sis jan
