I have to stop drinking and it's so hard. It started out just casual here and there and before I knew it , I lost control. I drank so much last night almost a whole big bottle of pinnacle vodka , and 3 beers , and I was only at this party 2 hours. My dad said he found me passed out on the kitchen floor , my keys and my glasses outside (they broke) with a big gash in my knee and when i woke up this morning I was surrounded by vomit...and i have a memory foam think so all the puke sunk into it. Why is it so hard to stop? I made a lot of stupid decisions last night and I don't wanna make them again but its a cycle I go through and no matter what I do , it always happens again and again. what the fuck is wrong with me?

Here is my new brother, copper :) He's so tiny! Moo and Tuck were ok with him on first meeting. Rocket due to his severe aggression will never meet Cooper.

Baby steps, you know? The first time you Ever walk away from the cycle, will show you it is Possible. The first step Has to happen; walk away Once, and you'll know what it Feels like to see the cycle can Change.
Are you afraid of a group, like AA? Would you be willing to go and see what happens?
I'd hate to see you let this take over your life, and miss out on some things you really Want to do, like your band....
Like you said tomorrow is a brand new day.
HUGS!
You can go over to the Alcoholism Support Board, if you think it might do you any good. It's pretty hard core AA over there, but there are people there who do it other ways. And there's plenty of nice people.
Try your best to stay away from that first drink!!! It's so much easier than staying away from the second, third, etc., etc., etc.
You've got the right attitude!!! Stay sober tonight and tomorrow is indeed a brand, new day!!!!!
Good luck!!!! (((((Hugs)))))

I never ever regretted giving up drinking for one second. It was one of the best things in my life I did. I changed my whole life, and I am a happier person for it. That's the whole truth, so help me God.
I pray you will find the strength to stop this. Just remember, it is addiction and you will need support and help, in some way.
Stay sober... moment by moment... for a better life, and better choices...
but i managed to kick the habit and nowadays i rarely drink at all. in fact, i developed an allergy towards alcohol which i'm thankful of. it helps keep me sober sometimes. i still drink, though, but i never lose control while drinking.
and now, it's weed and cigarettes for me. i say it's just one or two (puffs for weed and sticks for cigarettes) and then it just balloons and becomes more and more.
we're just human, we make mistakes. we stumble, then find a way to climb to the top again. like you said, tomorrow will be a brand new day.
Hope you get help soon
Hugs

I have heard that substance abuse is a way to deal with emotional pain. There is always a driving force behind drug abuse/addiction....BUT....whatever the cause, you need to quit, NOW!
It is hard to stop--but the only way is just to quit. One bloody minute at a time, One hour at a time, ONE DAY AT A TIME. I know its been said a million times, but its true.
Go to an AA meeting today. Its just that easy. Just go and don't drink. (and yes, you might well be miserable for a while while you adjust to no alcohol)
take care!
You sound completely out of control sweetie..
Please talk to your doctor about this quickly... there will be help for you.... it is filling a void.. addiction is a treatable illness..
Huge hug of support for you..x
