Christmas movies, music, cards, decorating....maybe.

I'm looking forward to spending this Christmas away from the mall and with my kids and parents. It's my hope that we get enough snow to go sledding on Christmas day

We just moved in with my wife's folks. By doing this, we may be able to help them stay in their house longer. And, I just lost my job to bp, so cheap rent will be good. Anyhoo, they are great people, so I'm very happy to have their company for Christmas. Also, we've talked about putting up a tree. It has been ages since we've done that! It will be fun! Also, I love egg nog!

I am a Scrooge....I am not looking forward to too much of anything right now....I have to watch a couple of films and catch some of your excitement..smile...xo

I love the Christmas movies and music but mostly looking forward to watching my grandchildren as they open gifts and play together. We moved the past January into a smaller apartment to save money but I am thinking of putting up a small tree so the kids and I can lay under the tree and watch the lights blink while we talk about Christmas. I love the holiday baking too!!!

I like a little Christmas feeling. Then I kinda want it over, and then it to get warmer.. haha Then again I should not complain. It has not been cold yet..really.

Normally years ago, I would enjoy a nice, full-sized real tree. But oh well, we have not had one since 2013. Just being together with the parents and my sister is good enough for me. We are all healthy (knock on wood). We are all mobile. Thats really all you can ask for. :-)

Funny you should ask! My favorite is decorating and looking at lights and decor in town and at the store. Also I do a ton of crochet for Christmas! I like everything leading up to the big day. But the day of gives me loads of anxiety! Just the idea of visiting family! Yuck. Hopefully Ativan and more knitting will get me through the big day. Happy holidays to all!'

Our Thanksgiving meal was fantastic! My brother in law brought over a smoked turkey that was to die for! I'm already looking forward to another good meal!

I love candles and the soft lights of Christmas so I look forward to decorating...I also love to cook and making my Grandmas's cookies they remind me of our happy times together...I'm away from family but I try hard to pull old and new friends in....

My mom and dad just made a batch of their Christmas cookies. They smelled nice while baking. I had maybe 4. They only make a limited amount heh. Back when we were kids, my mom made her Christmas cookies a few times, and many tins of them. Now, since she is older, my dad helps knead the dough and she makes one, smaller batch.

I had grown out of the whole "holidays" theme some decades ago. This could very well be because of my life choice to not have children. However I had been brought back closer to that childlike wonder and magic in the past few years. My wish is that I might come closer still this holiday season. Ahhh wishes and dreams, like angels...still through the cloven skies they come...regardless the years gone by. Merry Christmas everyone!

I'm looking forward to decorating the tree with my son. Hopefully having him over for a Christmas movie night with popcorn and I'm gonna make some holiday Chex mix. Gonna try and make cookies and homemade hot chocolate. There's so much hurt but I'm gonna smile through it and hope the pain turns to happiness. It's hard because I miss my kids so much especially during the holidays. Hopefully I get to spend Christmas with my son I hope I can make Christmas dinner for him and my aunt and boyfriend. I hope.

I'm looking forward to getting and decorating the Christmas tree. I always get really anxious around my extended family but I'm going to focus on leaning on my newly formed support group. Wishing you all a safe and a happy holiday season.
