I am a Brit, and I would not trust me as far as you can throw me. I have long arms with hairy armpits and my breath is pungent through my yellowing teeth.

Aside from all that, you may follow me around until the cows come home. That is if you don't mind me making grunting sounds interspersed with expletives of "bloody hell"

I definatly have a thing for southern accents GRINS sometimes I just call Sams phone just to make her say hello even tho I dont really have a whole lot to say - yeah I am a dork

i love the word bollocks. and the british accent and fond of the irish accent too. love italian accents as well.

i dated a southern boy for a long time and it was heaven. joe is from west by god virginia and sometimes he falls back into his hillbilly accent and it cracks me up.

My xBf, my daughters father, is from the south.(Tennessee) I LOVE his accent! I knew someone from the United Kingdom. we'd be talking to on messenger and she'd say, "Brb, I have to pop to the loo" that meant she had to go to the restroom.. she was hilarious. We talked a few times on the phone too.

Eddie said "blue yonder" once, says "I reckon" and "I don't guess" instead of "I guess" or "I guess so" His accent is so sexy .. damn.

Shame on you for forsaking your southern roots, jfulk! I was born a yankee, but by God I've lived in the south for almost 15 years and when I go home listening to New Yorkers talk makes my ears bleed. (Actually maybe it's just listening to my mother talk?) My fiance's mother is a South Carolina Belle and she comes out with phrases that completely dazzle me, I mean things you can't even figure OUT what they mean. I love dialects.

I agree I love british accents they are really cool, I do what I can to hide my southern drawl in public.

my uncle is from uk. he sounds cool. most of the transplants here have attitudes tho, except for him. he is the sweetest.

southern accent in a woman is cool, men tho it is a turn off. dont know why the gender favoritism, must be subconscious.

Maybe really redneccky southern accents are a bit tacky. LOLOLOL. I once heard a man say, "I don't guess we reckon oughtta call Peanut in the mornin'," in a movie theater and it gave me a chill, as I could hear the banjoes playing in the background...
