You know, there is something absolutely wonderful about the British accent. I think I would blindly trust any person with a British accent. They would be wonderful financial services representatives.

I love words like "tosser" and "bloody-hell," etc. Ahhh, if only I could get rid of this Southern accent.

I personally don't know any brits, except online and on tv. How do we know they really exist, anyway? (You know, the old "I've never seen a million dollars" thing)... (JK!)

Of course, their accents Are sexy. But jfulk, don't lose your southern drawl...I have it on Good Authority that some brits find that very sexy, too!

I'm a southern girl and like our southern accents.

As a former teacher it did hinder spelling. We say tin for the number ten. I tried to keep my accent, but watch out for words like that. Flowers are another word that totally gets spelling destroyed by our southern accent.

Nothing is sexier than a southern accent to me. Add a little country to the southern and we really have something going on.

Yea British accent are quite charming, i have a pen pal that is a mank aka Manchester England, and after talking to her iv actually gotten good at mimicking her accent. I never intended to but i guess it came with time. Ironically when i was teaching her the American accent i thought it be hot for her to use a southern one, god you should hear her say , bye byyeee now, yall come back now , makes you smile ear to ear :D

    I find myself going places in the car and not wanting to get out of the car. I come back home and I don't want to get out of the car. I think it's the only time I spend reflecting. Chronic tiredness from Long Covid plus the immunosupressing meds for my Crohn's is slowing me down but everything just seems a massive effort. I am dealing with the paperwork following my father's death but it's not...
